Treatment for dizziness, vertigo and Meniere’s syndrome
Physical Therapy at Tri-State Pain offers expert treatment for balance and vestibular rehabilitation.
This type of therapy is for patients diagnosed with dizziness, imbalance, vertigo, Meniere’s syndrome, benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV), neck-related dizziness and migraines. Other candidates are individuals who have had a stroke or brain injury as well as those with walking problems or a history of falls.
Physical Therapy at Tri-State Pain evaluates your symptoms and medical history and then assesses your balance as well as the strength, flexibility and mobility of your legs, neck and arms. We also do positional testing and an inner ear exam.
Based on your evaluation, our physical therapists develop an individualized treatment program that may include strengthening, flexibility and balance exercises and gait training. We also consider therapy for muscle, joint, and nervous system disorders that can affect your balance.
Our goal is to improve your ability to function in activities of everyday living, reduce your risk for falling, and ultimately, improve your quality of life.
